Central Michigan quarterback Daniel Richardson left CMU's Nov. 27 game against Eastern Michigan with an apparent left leg injury early in the third quarter.

On a second-and-six from the EMU 18-yard line, Richardson dropped back to pass. Eventually, he tucked the ball and was lifted off his feet by an Eagle defender before taking a hit that jarred the ball loose.

EMU's Kempton Shine recovered the fumble. Richardson was down for several minutes before being carted off the field with what appeared to be an air cast around his left leg.

Redshirt junior Ty Brock replaced Richardson at quarterback. The Chippewas were trailing the Eagles 17-6 at the time of Richardson's injury.

This story will be updated as Central Michigan Life learns more.
