Central Michigan's Abbey Tolmie and Emily Bracamonte have been recognized for their performance in the 2021 Mid-American Conference season.

Tolmie, a freshman outfielder, was named All-MAC second team and Bracamonte, a sophomore infielder, was named to the All-Defensive squad.

Tolmie debuted her college career with standout performances on the field and at the plate, completing the MAC season with the team-high .355 batting average .355 and 34 runs. She spent a majority of the season in right field and accumulated 63 put-outs.

Bracamonte's debut season was restricted to the spring games in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but made the most of her 2021 MAC season at third base. She strung together 41 put-outs and 57 assists on the field, but made an impact in the batting lineup with a .200 batting average for 10 runs --two homers-- with 18 RBI.

Both players are currently expected to make a return to head coach McCall Salmon's team for the 2022 season.
