Students and staff are invited to join the After Hours Improv RSO for their first show of the semester. The event will be from 6 to 10 p.m. on Feb 1 in room 161 in Anspach Hall.

"I think faculty and students can expect to have a lot of laughs," President of After Hours Improv Ally Emmert said.

After Hours Improv has tried to do a show at least once a month for the public throughout each semester at Central Michigan University, Emmert said. The event is open for the public to attend and participate as well.

"(The audience) gets to interact like any improv show, where they get to give suggestions to us performers to help guide the scene to what it will be," Emmert said.

According to Engage Central, After Hours Improv host open workshops from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays to help sharpen improv comedy skills as well as learn the basic skills and techniques. No auditions are necessary.

The RSO is open for all students to come together and practice their improv skills. Students can also take part in performing in the improv shows once they become a member of the RSO.

Students can find After Hours' contact info on Engage Central for any other questions.
