Traverse City resident Irie Berthelot holds a butterfly in her hand as she stands with her mom, Casey Berthelot. The family attended the event to honor and release a butterfly for Irie's grandparents, and enjoyed the experience of people coming together. The Butterflies in the Park event was held Aug. 6, at the Woodland Hospice house in Mount Pleasant.
