Matt McAurthur releases a butterfly in honor of his mom, and watches as the butterfly flys from his hand. McAurthor said Aug. 6 was his first time at the event, and was accompanied by his aunt, a returning member, along with his kids, nieces and nephews. He really enjoyed the event despite the rain. "I look at the rain as a little, you know, kind of (washing) away the old, and (bringing) on the new." The Butterflies in the Park event took pace at Woodland Hospice House in Mount Pleasant.
