Central Michigan has announced a pair of important dates regarding its 2020 campaign.

The Chippewas released the start date for spring practice as well as Pro Day on Monday. Spring practice will begin on Feb. 15, while Pro Day is set for March 20.

Pro Day offers graduated Chippewas a chance to perform in front of professional scouts. Running back Jonathan Ward, quarterback Quinten Dormady and defensive end Sean Adesanya are among those expected to participate.

Traditionally, the Chippewas wrap spring practice with an open practice for fans. A date for the annual open spring practice had not been released at the time of publication.

Central Michigan is coming off an 8-6 season that resulted in a Mid-American Conference West Division championship and a berth in the New Mexico Bowl. CMU opens the 2020 season on Sept. 5 at home against San Jose State.
