Mount Pleasant Police search for man in connection with Friday stabbing

The Mount Pleasant Police Department is currently searching for a 57-year-old man in conjunction with a Friday night attempted homicide.
Police allege Paul Vance Ellingson was last seen driving a stolen 2020 maroon Mitsubishi Mirage with the Michigan license plate number 4MDA81.
The incident happened around 5 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 1500 block of Granger Street, and involved a physical altercation between two male roommates, according to a department press release.There is no known threat to the public at this time.
