With my time at Central Michigan University quickly coming to an end, I wanted to reflect on my experiences at the news desk and on campus. Coming to CMU for hockey was the best decision of my life. I’ve made some of my best friends and some of the best people on the ice.
I never expected that choosing Central Michigan University would lead me to be the person I am today. Four years, three majors, two clubs and more memories than I can count have shaped me in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
When I first decided to pursue a degree in journalism, my heart was originally set on going to Northern Michigan University. That all changed after my visit to Central Michigan University, and Central Michigan Life played a huge role in swaying my decision.
