McKenzie Sanderson
McKenzie Sanderson is the Sports Editor at Central Michigan Life. She is a senior at Central Michigan University, majoring in journalism and minoring in sports management. The Port Huron native started at CM Life in November 2015 as a staff reporter on both the sports desk and a news desk.
Since then, she has been the beat writer for women's lacrosse, volleyball, facilities management, women's basketball and football. She co-hosts a weekly CMU sports podcast called "Maroon & Bold."
When not in the newsroom or in a press box somewhere, McKenzie can probably be found with her two beloved cats, listening to the Doors or looking at the moon.
